FAQ

❓ Frequently Asked Questions – Grass-Fed Lamb Orders

Can I choose my own processor?

Yes! You select the local meat processor of your choice. We deliver the lamb there for you (mileage charges may apply), and you pay the processor directly. This gives you full control over cost, quality, cuts, thickness, packaging, and how your lamb is processed.

What’s included in the price?

Your total includes one whole grass-fed, pasture-raised St. Croix lamb. You place a $50 non-refundable deposit at checkout, and the remaining $150 is due at pickup or delivery. Butchering fees are separate and paid directly to your processor. An additional $50 charge applies for uncut (intact) ram lambs and an additional $70 charge for uncut, registered lambs.

Is this lamb grass-fed and pasture-raised?

Yes. Our lambs are raised 100% on pasture in Devine, TX. They are not grain-fed or finished, and no growth hormones or antibiotics are used. The most our sheep get is supplemental hay and free choice of individual minerals.

How does pickup or delivery work?

You can pick up your lamb live and handle processing yourself, or we’ll deliver it to your selected processor. We include 20 miles round trip free, then charge $0.60/mile beyond that. We also offer finished meat delivery for an additional fee once processing is complete.

When will the meat be ready?

Most processors require 1–2 weeks from drop-off to meat pickup. They’ll call you directly when it’s ready. You then pay their butchering fee when collecting your order.

Can I buy lamb for Easter?

Yes! We offer a limited Easter lamb pre-sale each summer. These lambs are ideal for religious feasts, holiday meals, or early spring processing. Reserve early to ensure availability.
